SHANGHAI, Feb. 10 (SMM) – SHFE 1402 aluminum contract lost nearly RMB 100/mt before lunchtime on Monday. Spot aluminum largely traded at RMB 13,150-13,170/mt in Shanghai, RMB 13,080-13,100/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 13,160-13,180/mt in Hangzhou. Aluminum ingot arrival into east China grew after the weeklong holiday, but most downstream producers have not yet resumed operation, sending prices down.
