SHANGHAI, Dec. 31 (SMM) – SHFE 1403 aluminum contract slipped to RMB 14,000/mt after opening Monday’s night session at RMB 14,070/mt. Trading volumes were 6,224 lots, and positions added 492 lots to 54,426 lots. The most active contract hovered near the daily moving average during Tuesday’s day session before ending down RMB 45/mt or 0.32% at RMB 14,036/mt. Positions contracted 422 lots as investors closed positions due to risk aversion ahead of the New Year holiday. .
