SHANGHAI, Dec. 30 (SMM) – SHFE 1401 aluminum contract ended Monday’s morning session up more than RMB 100/mt. This enabled spot aluminum suppliers in south China to raise offers. However, downstream producers turned away from higher prices, forcing suppliers to cut offers later in the day. Spot aluminum in the region largely traded at RMB 14,320-14,350/mt.
