 Data from the General Administration of Customs showed that, China imported 550,000 tonnes of alumina in November. In the first 11 months of the year, the imports were 3.48 million tonnes, 24.8% lower than the same period in 2012.
 
China imported 87,675 tonnes unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in November; the import amount of the first 11 months totaled 837,944 tonnes, declined by 24.2%.
 
The import amount of scrap aluminum totaled 240,000 tonnes in Novenber and 2.26 million tonnes in the first 11 months, which declined by 5% YOY.
 
Meanwhile, the export amount of unwrought aluminum totaled 47,176 tonnes; the export amount totaled 508,427 tonnes in the 11 months, declined by 13.8% YOY.
