On Monday, SHFE 1612 aluminum started at RMB 14,030/mt and climbed to RMB 14,285/mt. The contract later gave up most previous gains with exit of longs and finally ended at RMB 14,100/mt. Trading volumes rose to 359,262 lots and positions fell 9,794 to 204,846. Spot aluminum dropped on Monday. Aluminum Inventory in China increased 23,000 mt.
