SHANGHAI, May 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1607 aluminum climbed to RMB 12,820/mt after opening at RMB 12,660/mt on Tuesday. The most active contract then fell back to RMB 12,695/mt, and finally ended up RMB 150/mt at RMB 12,755/mt. Trading volumes were down 47,946 lots to 111,152 lots, and positions were up 1,054 to 285,618. SHFE 1607 aluminum will move at highs in the near term.
